With the summer temperatures, a bathing trip to Poschinger Weiher was on the program today. The water was a pleasant temperature, but cool enough to be able to refresh yourself after the journey there. There are also a lot of shade trees. Unfortunately also quite a lot of "goose legacies".
For the return trip I chose the Isar cycle path south to Thalkirchen, which is pleasantly shady most of the time. The circle has come full circle with the southern suburbs of Solln, Forstenried, Neuried and Planegg.

Today my daughter and I have a wonderful tour from Unterammergau over the Kuhalm to the Teufelstättkopf and back over the August-Schuster-Haus, a.k.a. Pürschlinghaus, made. Many thanks to Melli H. for the suggestion ;-)
The hike began with the path through the Schleifmühlenklamm, which is absolutely worth seeing.
The path then led upwards on an easily accessible gravel road, past a pretty, small lake, to the Kuhalm.
From there it went steeply uphill on a narrow path to the height of "Auf dem Stein". From there it was still uphill, partly on a very exposed path (a head for heights is recommended), over a ridge to the foot of the Teufesltättkopf.
For the way to the Teufelstättkopf, which is secured with a wire rope, you have to climb. It is best to put the hiking sticks on your feet, they only disturb.
The path then continues, now downhill, to the August-Schuster-Haus, which is now open every day and offers a kiosk (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Tables and benches are set up at a Corona-compatible distance, on which you can consume the food and drinks you have bought. There is a very new and clean toilet.
After a reasonable break, we continued downhill on the Pürschlingweg. However, we did not make the detour to the Pürschling. The Pürschlingweg, which is quite steep for long stretches, is initially paved, later a gravel road with a lot of loose rock, so you have to be careful not to lose your footing more often. In between, however, the path also shows somewhat flatter passages. But the almost 600 meters difference in altitude to the parking lot is quite a drag due to the nature of the path.
As a reward, we stopped at the Soiener See on the way back to swim a lap and end the great dad-daughter day.
Another note: the time of 2:52 hours recorded by komoot is wrong! Excluding the breaks, we were on the mountain for about 4:30 hours.

Today hiked another section of the Amper and enjoyed nature on narrow paths close to the Amper in summer temperatures. Even briefly spotted a beaver, which seems to be in abundance at the Amper, to see the many beaver trails. We also saw a brooding, sleeping swan mom.
Since Ampermoching is dead, at least when it comes to the beer garden, we went straight back to Haimhausen at Il Fagiano with a pizza and then next door at Cellino with a scoop of ice cream.

Today I cycled a tour across the city to the east of Munich with a circumnavigation of the Isar reservoir. The tour is nice to drive once you are in the English Garden and on the Isar. For the lunch break I had chosen the Finsinger Alm. Very nice beer garden, extensive food and drink offer and good price / performance ratio. Today on the weekday it was pleasantly quiet, on the weekend all hell is going on (said the landlord).
To the north of the Unterföhrung I had to reschedule at short notice because the bridge over the Middle Isar Canal is closed. First I cycled on the northern side of the fish ponds.
Then I missed the bike path back to the south side and had to drive on the busy Ascheimer Straße; But then the bike path to my right, but not accessible due to high guard rails.
On the entire route from Unterföhring to Neufinsing nothing could be seen of the lake (except from a closed bridge). But the way back on the north side offers a great view and overview.
Shortly before the end of the tour there was a thunderstorm with hail and heavy rain, which I (warm showerer) waited for at a gas station.
That was a "test run" today because I will soon be doing the tour (then in a slightly modified form) with friends.

Today drove a great lap in company in perfect cycling weather. All the trails on the Amper from Olching to Ottershausen were "taken with you", motto: you have to go over seven bridges (or more? Didn't count). Had lunch break at halftime at the Heiglweiher (highlight) in Ottershausen. Unfortunately no bathing suit. On the way back we stopped by the Schwarzhölzl near Karlsfeld, always with a critical look up to see whether the weather is holding up. Kindly did - thank you, Petrus! The hoped-for ice break in Puchheim was waived to be on the safe side :-( But it would have worked out.

Today was once again the extensive circumnavigation of Dachau on the program, with a lot of distance away from busy roads - although despite the holiday there was relatively little car traffic. Now one of my favorite routes that I could drive without navigation, in my sleep, so to speak. Because of the towering clouds, I decided not to stop, which is why neither the Bergl-Wirtschaft nor the beer garden at the Schleissheimer Schloss could look forward to lingering. Then maybe again next time.

Today I took a leisurely Sunday walk on the Amper near Dachau and discovered a couple of wonderful "single trails". Spontaneously stopped at the "Alte Liebe" for lunch. Very friendly service, extensive menu and delicious food. Finally go out to eat in peace again, tooooollllll !!!
Finally up to the castle and visit the beautifully blooming castle garden. And all of this even in the most wonderful weather. What more do you want???

A super varied tour today, mostly along the water in great, sunny weather. Due to the rain in the night it was still quite muddy in places and past large puddles, but also over long stretches with easily accessible paths. The strong westerly wind with strong squalls in between, however, demanded almost everything in my condition, especially on the way back. But that's why you do tours like this, among other things ;-)
My long-term goal is the mouth of the Amper in Moosburg. Let's see when I'm fit enough ...

Set off today at random and landed again in Dachau. Discovered the Fürstenweg (steep ascent), which leads from the rear into the castle park.
The path along the small Olchinger See is - at least in this weather - only recommended to absolute mud freaks, but I am not one of them. And I had already cleaned my bike soooooooooooooooo the weekend, sniffed! Well, people need tasks ...
Due to the changeable weather there are only a few photos today.
At kilometer 19.5, the recording squirmed again - quickly rode 3,000 meters altitude over 3 kilometers ;-)
