Admittedly no sun and only two meager ribbons of rain, but on the whole return journey very gusty (how could it be otherwise) headwind. Thanks to sufficient battery capacity, however, manageable.
As an all-round reward - as almost always - an "appropriately large" ice cream at the end of the tour.

On this section of the tour, we tested something new again: the bypass of Heimbach from Hasenfeld to Hausen. You should just ride it for fun (in exactly this direction).
It goes without saying that the traditional ice cream in Zülpich was a must (this time only 4 scoops).

Tried out "uncharted territory" again this time. The paths are a bit "rough" in places, but that doesn't detract from the riding fun - including altitude meters.

A beautiful route planned by Dag with a worthwhile and therefore extended lunch break in Hilberath (this time even with coffee and cake for dessert). That the otherwise obligatory ice cream in Zülpich had to be sacrificed for it was thus easier to bear.
