On this section of the tour, we tested something new again: the bypass of Heimbach from Hasenfeld to Hausen. You should just ride it for fun (in exactly this direction).

Tried out "uncharted territory" again this time. The paths are a bit "rough" in places, but that doesn't detract from the riding fun - including altitude meters.

One should have known better: Eifel and weather apps don't "get along". Riding in reliance on a "no rain" indication and without rain gear would have almost become a wet and cold affair.
The planned "ginstergucken" (looking at broom) was therefore cancelled - having already arrived at Dreiborner Höhe
