Its a good challenge and reward. If it's going to rain take shoes you trust not to slip as large sections if the track are smooth rock faces.

Quite a few sections are on less frequently used trails which are narrow and overgrown with bramble. Hard going but fun. Some of the sections through farmland can be difficult to find and follow. As at June 2025 there are renovations at Castle Coch so some of the trail entries/exits are closed which
