Sawyer Bluff to Wachusett Reservoir Trail
There are many different routes to the lake, but I took a nice, leisurely stroll along the shoreline in a loop. The trail itself was wide, clean and relatively easy.

Peaceful area within the state forest that’s ideal for walking, hiking, kayaking, bird watching relaxing, and enjoying nature. Nice wide trail that is well kept with friendly hikers.

Audubon Caratunk Wildlife Refuge Park
The park is on a private land. Great outdoor space with hiking trails that follow a brook and circle a small pond two large meadows and a large variety of birds and wildlife. Free and plenty of parking. Trails are impressively marked.

Mount Wachusett Summit
Well maintained trails with great views. Plenty of parking even on a busy fall day. Splendid 360 degree vista on top: boston skyline, monadnok, greylock and the holyoke range.

Metacomet - Monadnock trail Section 7
The trail gets super busy. It's on a private land and some sections are steep and cloud be dangerous. Nice views at each peaks. The middle part where lots of different trails merge together is a bit confusing and not well marked.
