My first ever planned 25-mile ride from my hometown in New Jersey to Piermont Pier in New York which involved a series of wrong turns and detours an culminated in me getting hit by an SUV. I walked away so I'm counting my blessings, and I'm keeping this trip public because in the end I got up over 25 miles anyway - which is a big milestone for me.
