Then we hiked up the forest road for about two hours.
You have to be careful to stay on the path, as it often splits.
Unfortunately, just before turning back, we took the wrong turn.

As is customary in Thailand: watch out for stray dogs and check vaccinations if necessary.
A large, aggressive pack (approx. 20 dogs) can be found at the parking lot in front of Freedom Beach (approx.: km 2+300).
