This was a surprisingly beautiful and varied tour across Holstein. With the AKN train from HH-Eidelstedt center to Kaltenkirchen (approx. 40 minutes), back from Barmstedt by bus (line 294, rarely runs) or AKN A3 towards Quickborn (A1). No rest stops along the way.

I really liked this tour from home, it was beautiful hiking weather, no wind, hardly any people, so very quiet, absolutely relaxing. You can also stop off at the idyllically situated restaurant "Zum Falkenstein" (plaice with fried potatoes). But I preferred to sit down by the Elbe and ate.
