Lovely woodland walk on well defined trails through the National Trust’s Clumber estate.
This route takes you away from most of the popular tourist areas and is therefore very peaceful.

Win hill to Ladybower
Took a tumble and my technology switched itself off. This is the end section of my Ladybower, Hope cross Win hill loop walk.

Good route to the summit of Win Hill but the Parkin Clough path is quite difficult to descend especially when it is wet as it is steep and the rocks are very slippery. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone who isn’t physically fit.

Beautiful mix of heathland, woods and lakeside walking trails. There are 2 good cafes, one which is dog friendly (central bark) and a lakeside refreshment van.

Norwood, Hardwick park, Pleasley pit country park ramble
Good dog friendly ramble through pleasant countryside along some of the phoenix greenways and through the Hardwick Hall estate.
Dogs are welcome in the Hardwick estate on a short leash.

Fackley, Norwood, Hardwick circular
Good route using the Teversal trail and well marked footpaths through Hardwick Park.
Good waterproof boots advised as there are several muddy and boggy sections on the oak trail through Hardwick.

Super route that is mostly of road with a good variety of scenery including river side walking, open fields and woodland.
