Stadt Winsen (Luhe)

A very flat route that can be ridden without much effort. It's best to ride on a slightly overcast day, as there are few trees among the meadows, especially south of the Ilmenau River, that could provide shade.

Many benches along the route also invite you to take a break.

The surface is mainly asphalt

Except for the section between Scharmbeck and Pattensen (partly very rough gravel), this is an easy route. There are many shady spots and paths (the section south of Luhdorf along the Luhe River is a real highlight).

The best places to stop are in Scharmbeck at the milk station near Hof Benecke, in Bahlburg
