Belle balade au départ du refuge. Lors de cette montée au lac, en montant dans le calme, nous avons pu observer un certain nombre de marmottes. Dans le sens de notre randonnée, moins de monde pour aller au lac, par contre la descente se fait avec des parties en escalier. Enfin la restauration peut se faire au refuge situé au bord du lac
