Superb scenic route, mostly on wide paved forest roads; Many highlights such as information boards on a wide range of topics, managed refreshment stops, great rest areas and playgrounds. Easily manageable with Ebike, without a motor, physical condition is required.

Nice tour with insanely great views.
In the original, the Netpher wheel ring is driven the other way around, which is the more recommendable alternative, especially without a motor. The original route between the Hohenroth forest house and Netphen (down to the Obernau dam) is, however, rather boring compared to the route we chose because you can't get past all the great viewpoints.

Very nice tour, can be driven very well: mostly well-paved paths, short sections on residential streets and side streets.
Only two climbs that are a little more difficult without a motor.
      The landscape is very varied.

      Disaster tour!
The hiking trail marked "D", which I had chosen between Salchendorf and Grissenbach, was mostly just a dirt track and very steep - at one point so steep that I had to take another route. After all, I got past the beautiful view - see photo. Everything half as wild - until the descent to Grissenbach. The path is actually impassable because it has been totally destroyed by forest work: extended to a depth of over 50 cm, thick branches everywhere, very muddy - and also quite steep again. I pushed the section completely. To make matters worse, a thick branch had wedged in the rear wheel. I was really happy that the people and material survived the tour unscathed (apart from the mud), and am richer in the realization that turning back is sometimes the wiser decision ...
