This is a pleasant walk starting in my village of Disley. It passes through woodland, riverside, canalside and industrial heritage. It's beautiful and easy walking with a few pitched steps. It can be muddy in parts if it's been very wet

This is a pleasant 4.6 mile walk on a sunny day like today. St Mary's Church was consecrated 500 years ago The hike takes you through mixed landscape to the iconic Lyme Hall and Lyme Cage. There's a rail station at Disley and some great pubs.
