Das war wirklich nur eine kleine Anzahl von den unzähligen Windrädern in Rheinhessen, an denen ich vorbei gekommen bin. Manche Standorte bieten einen tollen Blick über das Rheinhessische Hügelland und das Radwegenetz ist recht gut ausgebaut und ausgeschildert. Rheinhessen, meine Heimat -- immer eine Ausfahrt wert 👍👍👍 Gestartet wird an der Petersberg-Halle in Gau-Odernheim, an der es auch ausreichend Parkplätze gibt. Von hier aus gibt es auch viele weitere Möglichkeiten für Touren.

Heute war Wandern angesagt und die Entscheidung fiel auf die Hiwweltour Heideblick. Start und Ziel war Siefersheim. Von unserem Parkplatz waren es nur wenige Meter bis zum Einstieg in die Tour. Bei bestem Wetter ging es durch die Weinberge und so manches Waldstück. Auf der Hügelkuppe erwartete uns eine tolle Aussicht und ein kaltes Getränk bei der Winzer-Alm. Alles in Allem kann man diese Wanderung nur empfehlen. Ob die Winzer-Alm geöffnet hat, sollte man allerdings auf deren Internetseite nachlesen.
