The walk begins at Porthmadog Harbour, where you can visit the Maritime Museum before catching the historic Ffestiniog Railway steam train pulling in. Then, you'll walk through town and head up the mountain, Moel y Gest. The path gets fairly steep and overgrown in areas and can get rocky at the top
