Moulin du Perdrigeau loop from Bors de Montmoreau

Thoroughly enjoyable walk in the woods around Bors de Montmoreau.
Some road walking but the vast majority on tracks and trails.
Recommended for anyone with dogs although first kilometre and a half and last kilometre will be on a lead

Very pleasant walk in woods around Bors de Montmoreau.

My dogs and I did this walk on a lovely warm and sunny autumn morning and we all enjoyed it.

Views are very limited, if they're your thing, but did not detract from the enjoyment of the walk

Didn't really enjoy this walk at all but gave it the benefit of the doubt and gave it three stars. Perhaps should have given it two.

The route starts in Villars, a small hamlet with no parking unless you live there or know someone who does. I started in Nonac, which is about three kilometres away.

Pleasant walk through lovely countryside.

First half of the walk was on roads, which was okay for me but my dogs were a bit bored.

Second half was off-road on hiking paths around the lakes and was most enjoyable. Both I and my dogs loved this bit.

The first three kilometers or so are on paved roads, which isn't much fun if, like me, you're walking dogs, but you shouldn't wait too long before reaching the first "green" section.

Walking in the countryside with your dogs in the sun is a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and this walk offered plenty

A very pleasant hike, but I had to cut it short halfway because there was a small stream too wide and deep to cross.

We had to find another route back to the car, but it was still a nice walk.

A really nice walk, but we had to cut short at the halfway mark as we encountered a small stream that was too

Walk actually starts in La Chapelle, which is a couple of kilomètres from Challignac.

Very nice walk, mixture of open and woodland, pretty flat and easy to negotiate.

Good, hour long walk, especially with dogs
