Das Albtal ist das nördlichste Tal des Schwarzwaldes. In sanften Kurven schlängelt sich die Alb bei Bad Herrenalb vorbei an der Klosterruine von Frauenalb bis ins bezaubernde Ettlingen, wo sich das Tal zur Rheinebene hin öffnet. Der typische Schwarzwald mit seinen tiefen Schluchten, frischen Quellen und beeindruckenden Panoramen wird im Verlauf dieses Weges lichter - dafür breiten sich Wiesen und Felder des Pfinzgaus und der Rheinebene aus. Die Hügel werden sanfter und die Städte lebendiger.

Für die Aktiven wird das Albtal zum "Erlebnis.Tal" mit Wandern, Radfahren, Mountainbiken oder Klettern. Wer es gelassener mag, erfährt das Albtal als "Wohlfühl. - und Genießer.Tal" mit seinen Thermen und einem Gastronomie-Angebot, dessen Spektrum von der Sterneküche bis zur urigen Brauereigaststätte reicht. Zum "Kultur.Tal" wird die Region für Liebhaber von Geschichten und Events sowie für Musikfans.
