Beautiful discovery of the small roads allowing you to complete this loop with very little use of the main road, except between Villars and Barboleuse. We pass through small, pleasant hamlets and, with a day like today, the landscape is truly splendid. You have to push/carry the bike for 100 m at km 16.9.

      Beautiful autumn day today!

The single track around the lake is nice, but it's a shame there aren't many options for looping it. The Planards hunting cabin is located in a beautiful spot with a magnificent view of the Grand Combin. I didn't encounter many people on the mountain pasture roads, but rather more along the lake.

Beautiful autumn scenery today! A beautiful route, mainly on forest roads or alpine pasture roads, except for a short descent via a ski slope without any difficulty. A few trees across the road at km 13.3 are difficult to pass but I think they will soon be removed. It seems that the border collie of

A lovely route above the Rhône valley, with views of Lake Geneva, leads to the magnificent Lac de Tanay. You'll have to push your bike along the path between km 10.6 and 11.3.

The descent through Prélagine is wilder and adds a bit of elevation gain.

Nadine's return to work is gentle, just after a few drops of rain and before the rain forecast for this evening. Picturesque little roads through the hamlets of Fully.

I had set out to climb to the Varre plateau, but when I arrived at Le Richard, I remembered that the herds at La Varre were guarded by Patous, and Patous and bicycles don't mix...

So I went back down for a short round trip towards Solalex.

A truly beautiful outing in these early autumn days. The climb to Salanfe is steep and stony, a good balancing act... Then, the walk to the end of the lake takes us through a magnificent alluvial desert, grandiose and wild. To finish, the path leading to the Col du Jorat is very pleasant, quite wide
