We arrived by public transport. Cabo da roca itself is beautiful but touristic, it's gonna get better with more distance (did the hike in January). You have a beautiful view on the whole track. At Praia da adraga and Praia grande there is a possibility to buy snacks and drinks. If you want you can also add the Dinosaur Stair thing, because you're walking straight next to it. I would recommend Hike shoes, but it also works in quality sneakers if you take care on you're steps. At Praia grande Is also a bus station, so you can do the track by public transport, would recommend it
