A wonderful ride mostly along cycleways and minor roads. It includes about 400 metres along the busy N125 but it's easy to cycle along the verge away from the traffic. The route passes though Manta Rota, Altura and Monte Gordo so plenty of cafés. Good food and fabulous view at the Grand Beach Club restaurant at the end of the ride.

Starting at bridge in Porto Carvalhoso (parking available) the first half of the route is mostly tracks. Then, after São Brás, join the busy N2 for a short stretch before turning off when the rest of the route is quiet roads and tracks. There is a cafe on the route near Peral.

This is an easy 25km ride along the Ecovia with views over the Ria Formosa. The Tavira salt pans are just stunning with lots of wildlife and lovely views. On the way back the route passes through the back streets of Santa Luzia and there is a nice traditional cafe by the church.

Park by the fishermen's huts near Fuzeta. The ride is along the Ecovia cycle track with great views over the Ria Formosa. It goes to the salt pans just west of Tavira, which are teeming with wildlife. Return to Fuzeta with a café stop in Santa Luzia. Highly reccomended.
