A day of adventure and discovery. Today should be our final push home. It was going to be an 80km day but there were no hills to contend with (except for a very tall bridge). Breakfast was quite a distance away in Tanjung Sepat but we reckoned the roti canai was worth the wait.
After that we had a short

Thus we cycled the 25km detour to Sg Pelek via Bukit Pelandok. This detour only added 10km to today's journey. But in that 10km lies some of the most horrendous hills I had ever encountered in my years of cycle touring.
It was midday but the sun was behind some brewing clouds signalling a heavy rain coming

Oh, what a day this turned out to be. We only had a short destination to cover as per planned and still in the R&R mood from yesterday evening so took our own sweet time to have breakfast and pack our stuff. But what did they say about the best-laid plans of mice and men?

We woke up to a constant patter of rain on the chalet roof. It did not let up by the time we were ready to move so on with the ponchos. Luckily the rain stopped about an hour after we started cycling as it was like being in a sauna in those ponchos.

We took lots of photos in Tanjung Emas Muar before riding on towards Melaka. We came across a monument of a giant trishaw on the Melaka - Johor border. The last time we visited this place was probably 15 or 20 years ago.
It got hotter and hotter as the day wore on. We stopped frequently for drinks. Our

It's been while but we're back. A 5 or 6 day tour (we're older now so might take longer) from Batu Pahat to Klang, and this was a first for Ayang as well as for me in going the opposite direction (I did Klang to Batu Pahat solo in 2018).
The day was hot but our spirits were high. We got to Muar before

Mangroovy goes touring. Again. This time to Pangkor. On this tour were some of the usual crews whilst others were new. Let's introduce the casts (in alphabetical order; otherwise this lot would start bickering why so and so was mentioned first, etc, etc).
