The 'path' from cattle grid after the Momument is peaty and mounds so be prepared for not the easiest of walking conditions. From the far end on the return the 'tracks' are not and is crossing open moorland so taking bearing is recommended. Make sure find the footbridge to cross river on to tarmac road
