Rouge Valley Ice Hike
Beautiful in the forest with no wind but anyone venturing out here today will need Crampons. Every hill both up and down was sheer ice and saw several people struggling on the climbs without them.
First time here and it is a lot like Jefferson Forest.

Walker Woods Snowshoeing Hike
Trails were in perfect condition for Snowshoeing or xc skiing. Between 6" and 14" of fresh snow on a solid base. All the single track trails were untouched and still lots of opportunity to break your own trails. All the double tracks seem to be heavily traveled already. Be wary…

Walker Woods Snowshoe Hike
Trails were in perfect condition with between 6" - 14" of fresh snow. Lots of single track was untouched even with all this hikers and skiers out. Lots of blowdowns across the skinny trails. All trails have a good solid base under the fresh snow.

Christmas Day Snowshoeing at 3 Rocks
The double track on up and downhills were icy but everything in the forest had a solid compact base. Lots of deer sign out there with one area showing several recent scrapes and tear up from a rut.

Simcoe Ride
Simcoe and Orillia have so much to offer a rider. Great ride on both sides of the road, fun fast flowing and some punchy rooty climbs. So worth checking out. Lots of natural rock and wood features and even more man made features to challenge skinny boardwalk riders lol.
