2,200 built steps - and some of them you do twice! Go clockwise from the junction to do most of the steps on the steep section to the sumit and then have a leisurely ramble back. Well worth the extra 200 steps to see the waterfall in the gorge!

This Trout River Pond Trail - no Pont! Fantastic trail which geologists would love. Complete contrast between the barren Tablelands of the earth's mantle (peridotite) and the relatively lush growth on the granite/ gneiss right next to it. Lovely walk through the boreal forest too for botonists. Might
