We went for a hike here on a very gloomy day, at the end of February. Some parts were very dangerous, especially the Vadálló Rocks, it required even a bit of rock climbing, and the paths were very narrow and slippery because of the previous rain and the melting snow. However, the view was really breathtaking, all the sorrounding mountains embraced by clouds, and mist hovering above the Danube. I would recommend the hike only with good equipment, hiking boots, and only for skilled hikers, at least in this kind of weather.
