In Saverne, you can stay overnight in the castle's attic; it's a youth hostel. The continuation of the canal through the Vosges Mountains is also beautiful. There's a small hotel in Héming. Then the Saar Coal Canal to Saarbrücken... I've done it several times, a long time ago, before Komoot.
