Starting near the Maritimo Stadium, the tour takes you along the Levada dos Piornais. Near the Expressway bridge, you go down into the Lombada do Cima valey, mostly an industrial zone with a lot of banana plantations. On the other side of the valey it goes up (steep) to Camara de Lobos. Then you walk
Walk through tipical Funchal neighbourhoods. Beautiful views over the city, the mountains and the sea. You can take the cablecar to get back down to the city center (stunning views !) or take a bus (cheaper).
