Sommocolonia Village – View of Barga loop from Barga
This route is also known as B2 from Barga. (Would be nice if Komoot shoved these official route numbers). The route starts as a nice foodpath in the forrest. After the river it is 300m up on paved route meaning flat stone road. Not the best to walk on. The Sommocolonia village is a good view but that’s it. Fine path to Albiano, where there is a nice public swimming pool (6 euro), so bring your swimming gear. All in all a nice trip, but if you drive out of town there are much better hikes
