Sehr schöne Rundtour. Allerdings auch sehr anstrengend. Man geht zuerst vom Wanderparkplatz eine ganze Weile ebenerdig oder mit leichten Anstiegen. Das Tal der Wolfsschlucht ist wunderschön. Am Ende angelangt trennt sich nun die Spreu vom Weizen. Entweder man kehrt um oder man nimmt den sehr steilen Anstieg im Fels. Hier ist gute Kondition gefordert, sowie Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit. Einige Stellen sind ziemlich ausgesetzt und durch Stahlseile versichert. Ist man endlich ganz oben angekommen, so kann man entweder noch einen Abstecher zur Blaualm machen (ca. 20 Minuten) oder man entscheidet sich nach rechts zu gehen und den Rundweg abzuschließen. Dann gibt es allerdings keine Möglichkeit der Verproviantierung! Entsprechend hier bitte vor der Wanderung ausreichend Essen und vor allem Trinken mitnehmen. Der Rundweg geht anfangs meist ebenerdig mit noch der ein oder anderen Steigung, bevor es dann schließlich über Almwiesen und den Bannwald wieder hinab ins Tal geht. Tipp: man kommt an einer Fischzucht vorbei. Hervorragender Punkt um eine Pause zu machen und Saibling zu essen. Mega!
