My first Audax, my first 100 mile cycle journey. I was flying, or so I thought, only to get massive cramp, quads, hamstrings, calf, you name it.. even my fingers! A kind group helped me limp back with them - thank you the Impington crew.

Feeling low mood in these winter months. Took the day off of work to get out and see some sun for a change. ByWays and Bridleways were very slippery with wet mud. Caught a pinch puncture from bobbly ground elsewhere.

Unplanned, unprepared, unbothered.. needed to force myself outside and put some effort in 😅
I used my old steel framed Claud Butler hybrid. Wore normal clothes as was cold. Grey day but nice to be outside
