Today I finally had the chance for a bike tour in the Streetzer Berge area, a chain of terminal moraines. Lots of continuous forest and the paths are very well suited for mountain biking. It seems nobody really knows what to make of the historic hunting lodge on the Spitzberg.

When you are travelling in the Hoher Fläming, you also pass through areas that are very remote. In the area around the small village of Weitzgrund/Verlorenwasser, time seems to have stood still. Perhaps they are still pushing the moon forward with a pole. The abundance of mushrooms in the area was impressive

Today in Fläming, I wanted to take a closer look at the three fairs, Lobbeser, Neuendorfer, and Garreyer. The first two are accessible and very easy to get to and open to both hikers and cyclists. I couldn't find any access to the Garreyer fair, I just had a quick look from the edge. Otherwise we had

Today we went to the Glücksburg Heath. The weather already shows that it is autumn.
The paths are pretty much all close to nature, so suitable for mountain biking. You can discover a lot that points to the past and history of the heath. The place called the Kalte Küche is noteworthy. Until a few years

Today, with the beautiful September weather, I felt like going swimming again, to the Bergwitzsee, and then a little bike ride in the area. I then headed towards the Roter See. The paths around the Roter See are more suitable for hiking. The lake itself is a quiet and almost inaccessible natural refuge.

A short hike in the Bavarian Forest to Leitenbüchel/büchl/bichel, as it's pronounced. This is the site of the crash of a Ju 52 on August 31, 1939. There's no other path leading from the hiking trail to this spot. Arriving there, I found many moss-covered rocks. For me, who comes from the Sahel region
