This is one of unusual paths of Mt.Fuji hiking trails even if this is the well-known trail: Yoshida route. The trail itself is not so difficult since it is not steep. However, you have to plan the whole route to the summit carefully so that you will not get too tired even before trying to go further from 5th station later.

This is an amazing hiking trail of the beginning of the Fuji mountains from Kanto region. The toughest part of this trail is in the beginning: Otokozaka. In the beginning of this trail, you can actually choose Otokozaka (男坂) or Onnazaka (女坂). Otokozaka is steeper but shorter than Onnazaka. Also, you will see Shinto culture with Oyama-afri shrine (大山阿夫利神社).
