Very good route with challenging trails. Unfortunately, a small group of people has been lobbying for years to open a new quarry in the heart of Ivanščica, and it seems they have finally succeeded, even though many people from the surrounding villages are protesting. Politics has decided to give the green light. Trees have already been marked where the road will pass, and one of the most beautiful dirt trails will be destroyed. Up to 700 trucks a day will pass through untouched nature, and everything is being done under the radar. Details can be found on the Facebook profile Eko Udruga Naša Ivanščica.
