Schucki aus LE 🖖🏼 went for a bike ride.

On this glorious late summer day, with temperatures approaching 30°C, my ride today took me via Böhlitz to Kulki and then on around the Cossi. The plan was to have lunch at the "flotten Radler" (a fast cyclist) at the (former) Elster Reservoir, where I'd eaten the world's best meatball, but apparently

Final vacation tour of 2025 from Prerow to Barth and back. 10 days on Darß are unfortunately already over. 😢
Two-thirds of the route is the same as to Bothstedt, i.e., the dike path to Zingst and past the campsite. The Meiningen Bridge and the disused railway line are also included.
On the way back, there

Today was a rather strenuous ride from Prerow to Wustrow. In windy 18°C with a good mix of clouds and sunshine, the detour on the cliffs just before Wustrow was almost impossible due to the closed "cliff path" (very sandy). Further down to the Bodden, there was another road closure (small bridge), where

Following an insider tip, a special highlight awaited us at dusk today – "watching deer and wild boar"!
The bike had to be parked on the main path, and then we set off for another 20 minutes over hill and dale to a true "lost place" – the long-abandoned hunting lodge. Here, you can learn a lot of interesting

In rather windy 16°C (41°F), we cycled to Zingst today, then took a three-hour boat ride across the Bodden to Hiddensee. It got increasingly stormy, but thanks to the e-bike, the effort on the island and on the return trip (a massive headwind) was manageable. ☺️ However, you only have about four hours

Today, in glorious 18°C (64°F) with plenty of sun and wind, I took a wonderful ride from Prerow to Dierhagen. Through the Darß forest and along the dike to the "end of the day" (lunch + vacation 🍺 😜) at the "Zum Störtebeker" restaurant. Then back along the Bodden via Ahrenshoop and Born. With a strong

Finally, vacation! 🌤️🏖️
After unpacking, we took a quick walk around town to see if the new pier was still standing. 😉😆
Yes, it's still standing, and it's already incredibly long (720 meters) before you get to the front. But it's very nicely done.

In glorious cycling weather (24°C and sunny), we took a lovely ride along the new Luppe and White Elster rivers to Ermlitz. A quick lunch stop at the Domholzschänke for a bike 🍺 and a McDoof 🍦 at Nova Eventis. 😜
Unfortunately, part of the planned route was closed due to tree damage, and we had to find

Today, on the bank holiday, I took advantage of what was probably the most beautiful autumn day (cold, but plenty of sunshine) for another long tour of the Neuseenland region. From Lindenau to Cospuden and further around Lake Zwenkau, it was a very beautiful route with lots of nature (alley forest) and
