Dirty Harry’s Balcony + 1/2 Peak Trail
Our goal was the balcony and since we got there quickly we headed up to the peak. We stopped short about 3/4 mi and 400 feet of the peak since the trail was completely overgrown (and we were tired:)). Great views and workout - we will definitely be back again…

Excellent 10 mile hike along the Ullswater that takes you through diverse landscapes. Fairly quiet until you approach the campgrounds of Pooley Bridge where more people are enjoying their holiday time. We took the Steamer back to Patterdale.
