Hike from Valea Verde to the observatory
Nice walk I'm a small typical Saxon village, which is pretty deserted. A taste of rural Romania. The observatory is very nice, isolated yet feel protected. We didn't spot any wild animals during our stay in it.

Heroes' Cross on Caraiman Peak – Bucegi Sphinx to Hero's Cross and back
Barren landscape on top but stunning views and AMAZING (really!) car cable ride to top and back (from/to Busteni).
Ropute is quite popular and busy with many hikers. do NOT expect to find serenity there.

Bezbog chair lift middle station to base
Short and rather easy hike. Not a rewarding as others as well. The parts within the forest are nicer than those on the ski slopes

From Gyovren to Valchi Kamak and back (loop)
Great hike in an amazing alpine forest. Dont skip the route down back as it traverse through a quiet part of the trail where no jeeps ride to the peak and back.
