Wandering harpist, long-distance cyclist, and seeker of quiet miracles.
Pedaling a bike I call my "Camel named Clyde", exploring trails (sometimes metaphorical ones), chasing open roads, collecting good stories, and seeking the kind of silence that lets the soul breathe...
I always bring musical instruments with me for those special moments and soon I plan to engineer a way to carry a small harp when I can —and record whatever comes out of those moments. Much of my music is born from the saddle, along with the occasional affirmation whispered to myself when the miles get heavy. I'm not racing, not chasing KOMs—just moving through the world with curiosity and a little music.
If you like slow-burn adventures, roadside epiphanies, and the idea that a bike ride can be a kind of pilgrimage… come along.
Clyde’s already rolling.
-- 2026 update
The surgeries are over and I officially have permission to train for the big rides that were so crewely denied us in 2025. To be able to make the most of this year and get myself back into proper working order, I'm training regularly and so you are going to see a lot of shorter runs (under 20 miles) for a few weeks and we will be moving up to 50 + as my strength returns. It's the end of january as I write this and it's cold. February in northern utah is usually colder... BAH!!! I want to be ready when the snow melts in the mountains so I have no time to waste! I've got my cold weather gear and We're already having a ball scrambling in the Icy and muddy roads & trails!
