The first time in the Palatinate. So beautiful! 😃 Cycled with friends through vineyards lined up in autumnal colors🍂, looked out over the Rhine plain at Hambach Castle, cycled through pretty 'hamlets' and stopped for a hearty meal and new wine. We also know it as 'Rauscher'.🍷

We had imagined the temperatures on the German Wine Route to be a bit warmer, but the weather was actually better than predicted today in Deidesheim, Neustadt and St. Martin, with a wonderful chestnut cream cake and juicy Riesling ham 🥩👌😁. Now we know why everyone wants to go to the Palatinate so much 😉
