Parque Nacional de la Sierra de las Nieves – cirkelroute via het Cascadas Pad (PR-A 282)
It is a beautiful hike in a stunning area. However, the difficulty level is indicated as easy, but this should be mediate, so that people who are not fit and common hikers are not surprised. Several parts are very steep and rocky so require steady trained strong feet and legs.

What a magnificent hike! So well managed also by the park authorities. To avoid confusion, best to buy a park ticket online and also we drove the car (4-wheel drive) from the park administration up to the higher parking lot. That saves a lot of time, which is important if you visit in the afternoon

What an amazing hike! Apparently the animals are not llamas but guanaco's. The park facilitities are great too. When on the part of the hike that goes through the valley, pay close attention to the track on the phone as its easy to lose the trail. But a fantastic hike!!

Very special at the end of March and through early April are the orchids that are in bloom. Tiny and not always standing out from the scrub, but very special to see. Great part of this awesome hike!

Great hike! However one part, down to the gorge for THE famous picture, the normal access is under construction and blocked - this was early march 2024. However, you can still access some of the fantastic view points from mid-way levels into the gorge towards the bridge, then just turn around same way

Please note that when using the app, the description for the final 1000m or so, will get you in a very steep climb, something that appears not as intended. We followed the route to the centimeter and got in a very precarious situation at the end. It maybe that in the past the villa which now blocked

Absolutely stunning hike. However, the difficulty level should be adjusted to medium instead of easy. There are many rather steep parts that are rocky and require good hiking shoes and strong legs and steady feet. We met several elderly and young people who were overwhelmed as they underestimated the
