Prima escursione dell' anno, come sempre la Grignetta non deludere mai. Abbiamo fatto il sentiero delle capre a salire e il Cermenati a scendere, cielo stupendo poco vento, praticamente un' escursione perfetta.

La partenza è dalla zona industriale di Premana, dopo aver parcheggiato abbiamo preso la strada per Forni- Alpe Varrone, partendo subito con la neve, dopo circa 4,6km abbiamo raggiunto l'Alpe di Forno di Sotto e poi l'Alpe di Forno di Sopra, l'Alpe Vegessa e abbiamo sfiorato passando sopra l'Alpe Casarsa, bellissimi alpeggi incastonati nella valle. Qui abbiamo preso il sentiero che porta all'Alpe Barconcelli altro alpeggio a 1400mt circa di altezza, tutti sentieri ricoperti dalla neve. Dopo una breve pausa siamo ripartiti sul sentiero che porta al Pizz d'Alben seguendo i cartelli che si trovano, il sentiero è per il primo km impegnativo poi si fa più leggero per circa 1,7 km per poi farsi di nuovo impegnativo, anche a causa della neve oltre che per la pendenza, per un altro km. Qui va spianando fino a raggiungere il Pizz d'Alben, qui ci si trova ad ammirare un paesaggio magnifico che spazia dal Legnone al Pizzo Tre Signori e da Croce di Muggio passando per le Grigne fino al Resegone. Sosta per il pranzo e siamo ripartiti scendendo all' Alpe Chiarino e poi raggiungendo il rifugio Ariaal, qui siamo scesi seguendo i sentieri che portano al parcheggio. Si trovano parecchie fontane lungo il percorso, consiglio di fare questa escursione in un periodo che va da inizio primavera a metà autunno. Percorso adatto a cani abituati a lunghe camminate non si trovano eccessive difficoltà lungo il percorso.
