Great tour! The contrast between the technomaniac port facilities of Bremerhaven / Cuxhaven and the marshland in between is incredible. It took me six hours and I didn't take many breaks.

I took a scooter taxi in order to do the walk to cunca wulan waterfalls. Including some rests it was a 2 hours ride, not very difficult and on the way to Ruteng. So you might do it on your own.

From the starting point the walk is very brief and easy to find but you need to pay a guide ;-) The falls aren't very special but nice enough and good for a swim. It was a nice daytrip from Labuan Bajo and I had a good time there. Bring good footwear, it's slipery sometimes.

This was my ride on a scooter-taxi to get from Ruteng to the starting point for the hike to Wae Rebo. You might follow on your own scooter. But take care. The road is quite bad at some parts. To actually drive from Ruteng, you have to take the road, the other way round.

I enjoyed it a lot! It's an easy walk of 2 hours uphill to get there, but you might take less than 3 hours to include time for all views and wild plants. Downwards it was 1,5 hours for me but we were walking fast.

Including all rests and navigation it took me a full day to hike.
It's not the temple itself, it's the walk there, the wonderful warung, the view from the temple (which is not accessable). There was a guy asking for a entrance fee - I think he was not official.
