Some old and some new segments for today's bike ride. The path along the Nottekanal was new for me and it was very enjoyable, as the surroundings looked so fresh and green after last weeks rain showers. A little break with french fries in Königs Wusterhausen. Then off to the forest just south of Wernsdorf, to see if I could find any edible mushrooms. No luck today, maybe it's still too early? The forest looked real pretty though and the first signs of autumn were showing.

Another hike with my sister. This part of the Camí de Ronda was less technical, we even saw families with young kids along the trail. Again, beauty all around, very enjoyable hike and surroundings.

Another holiday hike along the Camí de Ronda. I wanted to explore the part that me and my sister skipped on our hike 2 days ago. Again, a super nice mix of technical terrain and chill gravel paths, stunning views and beautiful beaches and cliffs. I walked / jogged back again over the mountain and jumped into the hotel swimming pool soon after.

I hiked this part of the Camí de Ronda together with my sister. Really fun and sometimes technical trails, going up and down the cliffs, with beautiful little beaches and plenty of gorgeous views. To save time, about halfway we decided to hike over the mountain instead of following the coastline (I did that part in another hike). Jogging downhill was fun and rewarding, so we were able to arrive at our hotel just before dark.

Yesterday, I drove to Schlaubetal with a friend by car and then cycled back home today. After last week's sandy suffer fest I avoided going off road like the plague, as it was another crazy hot day and I just wanted to get home a bit faster. So let me introduce you to my new best friends asphalt, tarmac and concrete. A 90s MTB is probably not the right tool for the job and neither are my jeans shorts, but at least I brought enough water this time so I didn't look like a dried up raisin when I came home. I also slowly start to understand why people like racing bikes for this kinda stuff, but I'm not converting into a spandex warrior just yet.

I wanted to explore Märkische Schweiz for a while, but because of the high temperatures today, I shortened the route a bit. Glad I did. The heat of the past couple of days had changed a lot of the forest paths in Sandy Situations™ and plowing through with 8 km/h is not that much fun.

On this sunny Saturday I headed out south again. This time to explore a couple of nice looking concrete slab paths running through green pastures that I had discovered here on Komoot. Hooray for users uploading pictures!

Great weather today for a bike ride and at the same time avoid the 1st of May crowds in Berlin. I went south again, exploring the charming little town of Königs Wusterhausen, the south side of the Oder-Spree-Kanal, via Löcknitztal to Kleiner Müggelsee for a break at the beach.
