I'm not an experienced hiker, I just wanted to climb 1000m in a day. This tour has a section both on the ascent and descent where you are virtually rock climbing. Add to that lots of arduous rock scree along the ridge line where you can easily go off course. Having given the warning, would I do it

Quite nice, pretty agricultural land

Although this is a really nice and easy walk, the section that drops down in front of the castle is difficult. Not to be missed in my opinion, wear some grippy trainers. If you don't fancy this section it can easily be missed out as the walk loops back on itself.
