Velocafe endurance adventure to top of lac Fraser and back via lac Stukely
Beautiful ride of undulating terrain, mostly off road, packed gravel surface. Well shaded, some parts a bit rocky and steeper but some the most beautiful I’ve ridden (note: I love forests). See comments for more info. Some trails were closed so the ride was different than we planned..

Loved this ride.. our first time riding in the Algarve. Bike hire from bicycle co of sagres was amazing, Bruno was fantastic, highly recommend. E mountain bikes. Nothing too much trouble. Started late at around 10:15, but since weather is pretty benign (doesnt get crazy hot like alentejo) we weren't

Good ride, quite easy to find the bike path. The path varies a lot between easy dirt road (majority), uneven dirt road with deep sandy patches (a bit of Sliding around for novices like us - maybe 5% or the total) and quite rutted, overgrown stony patches to be ridden slowly (5%) trail was very quiet

Oops. - forgot to stop recording when back at the start. So distance was actually about 42 ks. Did on an e bike although didnt need to use much battery. Trail was mostly bike path - ie cross country track/narrow dirt road, only the section along lac stukely was a bit rocky and steep in one section for
