Moderate hike through the local city streets and the vineyards. There's a weingut along that trail, stop for tasting 😉. You'll see statues and a temple too.

Burgpanoramaweg starts in the city of Kirkel, about 35-40mins from Kaiserslautern. Another lovely find with multiple trails inside. We came upon the Geological Trail that displayed rocks dating back 160-350 million years old. Many from several of the surrounding cities. It's a very well marked trail, look for the Burgpanoramaweg signs and you'll never get lost. I'd rate this as a moderate trail with some climbing but nothing too steep though one area we passed was consider the Steig area. It definitely earned its name 😬.

Very easy trail to navigate with clear pathways. First time seeing the wold 🐗 out though. There were about 10 that passed in front of us 🫣. Dog and family friendly trail, good for biking and running too.

Easy trail though muddy today with all the rain. Distance was 7.30 miles. This trail has about 3-4 inclines otherwise it's a family friendly easy trail.
