A longer walk than normal with walkers from Cotmanhay. The walk starts at Victoria Park Leisure Centre, Ilkeston; goes to The Pod and then down through Cotmanhay to Shipley lock returning along the Erewash Canal. Plenty of opportunities to drop off early and catch a bus back if you prefer a shorter walk. 1 gate, 1 stile & bridge over railway (can be avoided)
