Steep mostly shaded with great place to pic-nic at the top with an area of stones. There are only a few views but they are spectacular .

Ponte da Pedra – Leça do Balio Monastery loop from São Mamede de Infesta.
Pleasant walk along river bank with playgrounds. There has been plenty of new planting which will take some time to grow. Arty reflective experience focussed on migration near the end for those who like to contemplate arty things. €10 entry but you get a free book. At time of writing…

The middle of this route is blocked by farm fences.
The route is very dull anyway. Although the walk through the nature reserve is peaceful there are very few aces with a view and you have the final part of the walk through a nudist colony.

The part of the walk from Port Pollo to the tower is very dull with coastal views obscured by rough vegetation that has grown too tall to see over.
The parts of the walk from the parking to Port Pollo and from the tower returning to the parking is good though... Just long boring unrewarding walk in the middle.

The loop back bit of this walk is blocked as private land so you have to just walk back along the path you came down on. Bit disappointing. The walk down is OK, but the bathing spot and bridge is spectacular!

Awesome walk with hills, fields and some woodland - not much on roads and no main roads. Note - you can't park at the sustainability centre but there is a small area about 50 metres to the west of the entrance in front of 2 pipe segments blocking the entrance to a field.
