This is a short off road section through the woods. It took me about 20 minutes. Make sure you have your gps on . It crosses a stream which might be a problem after heavy rain or in winter/spring. This section is quite wild. Watch out for bears in the more forested areas.
You will need to plan your own section to Budesti from the end of this walk, but do it before you leave as there is no phone signal . From the end of this section to Budesti it is mostly semi open landscape along tracks.
Easy route on sealed and gravel road. The monastery was small but pretty. No one there when i arrived. About 2.5 hours from barsana. After you visit the monastey return the way you came for about 0.75km until you see a well that you already passed on the road. Take that turn and follow the route, continue
First part goes through woods which the kids will love, then a long section of upland which won't appear al to young kids. Once rejoining the river it's magical and loads of places to swim
