Rentrer à la maison sans prendre le train et arriver à temps pour voir la finale
L'idée était de rentrer en vélo à la maison et d'arriver à temps pour voir le match. Mon départ tardif et le cagnard ont eu raison de cet objectif. J'ai tout de même pu voir la deuxième mi-temps.

I wanted to enjoy the weekend and left too late, at 3 p.m. when the sun was already blazing. I drank gallons and sometimes felt my body weak on the climbs and in the sunny sections. Halfway through, I was already knackered. But I had to get home and quickly enough to watch the final. I rode incredible

After the big bump at the start of the route, it's straight on to Toulouse!
I did well to start with the difficulties in the Montagne Noire. The rest was just a formality, following the rigole de la plaine and then the small country roads and paths with the wind at my back to the pink city.

St Jean de Verges Toulouse par les crêtes
Le parcours devait faire 100 bornes et 1000m de dénivelé mais il y a eu plus de montées que prévues. Une sortie magnifique après 3 semaines de pluies. Les pistes étaient difficilement praticables et nous avons privilégié les petites routes de campagne.
