Clear paths to follow but mind the chalk on the return 2km. No problem with hiking boots. A beautiful NT village with the must see stone circle and Avenue, in addition to the surrounding countryside landscape linking to the Ridgeway.
Refreshments at the NT shop or Unhenged in Avebury are well worth it.
