You can start from the little train station. I took the bus (s4/s3) from Porthmadog. But there is also a car park.
The Tour ends at Pen-y-Pass, there are several Bus lines (forth and back)
This route combines the south ridge scramble with the easy access / parking and views of the Rhyd-Ddu track.
In the
